Privacy Policy
Last updated: April 21, 2026
Dronabinols (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the financial intelligence platform at dronabinols.com. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have about your data.
1. Information We Collect
When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and authentication credentials. If you sign in with a third-party provider such as Google, we receive your name, email, and profile picture from that provider.
When you use the platform, we may collect usage information such as which features you interact with, the tickers you research, and the strategies you build. This helps us improve the product and apply usage limits per your tier.
We do not collect your Social Security number, bank account numbers, brokerage credentials, or tax identification information. Dronabinols is a research platform; we do not execute trades or hold funds.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to operate the platform, authenticate you, personalize your experience, process subscription payments, communicate with you about your account, and improve the product. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
3. Service Providers
Dronabinols relies on the following third-party services to operate:
- Supabase — user authentication, session management, profiles, and usage data
- Netlify — application hosting and content delivery
- Massive and Finnhub — market data providers (we send ticker symbols on your behalf; we do not share your identity with these providers)
- Stripe — subscription payment processing (planned)
Each of these providers has its own privacy policy governing how they handle data. By using Dronabinols, you agree to their respective terms as they apply to the data we share with them.
4. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
We use a small number of technologies to operate the Service and improve it over time.
Strictly necessary cookies. Authentication cookies set by our identity provider keep you signed in across visits. These are required for the Service to function and cannot be disabled. We also use browser local storage for non-tracking purposes — for example, remembering your theme preference and your current tab — so these settings persist across visits.
Analytics. We track which features you use (for example, screener runs, options lookups) to understand product usage and prioritize improvements. This data is stored in our own database — we do not share it with third-party analytics services. You can opt out via the cookie banner shown on your first visit or by clicking “Cookie settings” in the footer at any time.
Marketing. We currently do not run third-party advertising or marketing pixels. The “marketing” category in the cookie banner is reserved for future use; if we ever add such tools, we will not enable them without your consent.
Do Not Track. If your browser sends a Do Not Track signal, we treat that as a rejection of analytics tracking and do not show the cookie banner.
You can also control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling strictly-necessary cookies will prevent parts of the platform from functioning.
5. Data Security
We take reasonable technical measures to protect your data, including HTTPS for all traffic, encrypted data storage at our providers, and secret-scoped API keys that are never exposed to the browser. However, no system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
6. Your Choices
You can update your account information from your account settings. You can delete your account at any time, which removes your profile data from our systems. Some information may be retained for a limited period for legal or operational reasons (for example, billing records).
If you are a California resident, you have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). If you are in the European Economic Area, you have rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). To exercise these rights, contact us at the email address below.
7. Email Communications
Dronabinols sends two categories of email:
- Transactional emails — account confirmation, password resets, security alerts, and other notifications required to operate your account. These are not optional and will always be sent.
- Newsletter and marketing emails — daily market intelligence and product announcements. These are opt-in. You can change your preferences at any time from your account settings.
8. Children’s Privacy
Dronabinols is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with information, please contact us so we can remove it.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised version on this page with an updated “Last updated” date. Material changes will be communicated to registered users via email.
10. Contact
Questions about this Privacy Policy can be directed to Dronabinols’ support team. We will publish a dedicated support email address on this page once our mailbox is live.
